The Saint Ann Altar Servers and their families gathered together on December 4th 2021 for the second Altar Server Family Social. Before the event began the youth gathered together to pray the Liturgy of the Hours before they began to watch Disney's Prince Caspian. Volunteers cooked hamburgers and fries in the kitchen for the youth. When the film was completed we talked briefly about the Christian typology and symbols in the film before beginning a series of contests between the altar servers in group. They would attempt to throw bolo's at a series of bars, and when they landed on one, they would get one token to run back and play a piece on a connect four board. Whichever team connected four in a row would win. After the first few rounds, the youth began wearing glasses which inverted their view to throw the bolos.
After several rounds of the game and a round between the parents, the youth broke to play the various activities on casually while the parents gathered to socialize casually before closing the event.
